Pleasant
The vintage decoration was really cool, great books available to read and the apartment in general was cozy. Too bad there was a lot of effort in decoration, and not enough in comfort
Room wasn't ready upon our arrival, we had to go for a walk and wait. No central heating, only a small oil heater for the Porto winter, clearly not enough for the cold. The electric board went off, and the switch is hidden behind a wooden plaque, BEHIND a huge closet which you have to drag. Electric plugs were also hidden behind furniture. The TV remote needed new batteries. There was also no gas on the stove for cooking, the only working disk was electrical and the buttons had no markings, so we couldn't know the power output.

Good place for the price.
Equipment is overused. You can tell that the owner is not visiting regularly. The knifes were blunt, the tiles on the floor was full of scratches and with broken edges. The cleaning lady wanted to kick us out at 11 AM from the apartment at the second day. She doesn't spoke English at all, and was unfriendly. Later it turned out that it was a misunderstanding about the check out date

Bed is big and comfortable. Hot water is all the time.
we stayed for a week, during this time nobody changed the sheets and towels (owner promised change every 4 days), also empty bottles were left from previous guests, unpleasant smell in the kitchen (like plumbing/ rotten smell), not handy solutions in the apartment (when you open the kitchen cabinet it hits a lamp), no bottle opener, knobs in gas stove are broken etc. After all room is quite ok but needs attention and refurbishment.

Great place and price
Great place for the price, the neighbourhood is 20 minutes away from the center, but the area is well connected, it has a subway stop near, the surroundings are packed with supermarkets, banks, drugstores etc., there's even a laundromat around the corner. Regarding the studio, it was neat and clean, the bed is really comfortable, the hot water runs with no problem, and the kitchen provides everything you need to cook.
The fact that there was no reception and communications in order to get the codes and the key had to go through the phone and sms at the moment of the arrival. Nonetheless, I had no problem with it and everything went well. Furthermore, there's a tax that you gotta pay and that you leave on the table before leaving, maybe it is best for the clients to include that amount on the total price instead of placing it apart.
